About My Blog :)

Hello everybody. I know you will all be reading this and thinking oh it’s just another one of those cooking blogs, but i intend to make your views and skills in food a whole lot better. I will do my very best to post a post everyday, while fitting in my very busy lifestyle at the same time. I’m an incredibly relaxed and friendly person and i’m fully able to answer any of your kitchen or “all of the cakes i seem to make always sink in the middle”. Feel free to ask anytime. I set this blog up with a great push from one of my closest friends, i was really intrigued to start and when my 1st ever post went public i felt this sense of excitement of what to expect next.

I hope to broaden your approach to cooking, by experimenting with old and new flavours and ingredients. Food is not a subject, it’s a conversation starter, a way of life, and great for your general well-being. Who cares if a recipe calls for 400g of butter, don’t be silly and use a butter substitute, live your life to the full as you only live once! Okay so i am also a little mad about Nigella Lawson, Ella Woodward and Hemsley and Hemsley.

Currently, i am trying to improve my lifestyle buy reducing my dairy, gluten and meat intakes, and i hope that my recipes will reflect this and that you may well choose to give it a go..

remember to eat, nourish your body inside and out and reap the benefits!

I hope you will enjoy reading this blog and that it will open your mind a little more..

Merci Beaucoup,

Ryan!

Hi Ryan, your lemon drizzle cake recipe has really inspired me. I’ve just made it this afternoon and now waiting to bring it over to a BBQ later and can’t wait to try it. The only thing it did different was I’ve poked little holes in the lemon loaf before pouring the syrup in. Hope it will turn out well. Will let you know of course!

Ryan, I won’t tell you what we all thought. Of your lemon drizzle load but what I can tell you is that I am now making a second loaf in the same day at 8 pm at night so that ought to tell you something! Thx so much for the recipe :o)

Hello, I am really sorry for not getting back to you sooner about this comment. I have been away from home on an orchestra course in Scotland all this week and haven’t had the time to do any posting or commenting. So glad to hear it was a success for you and no problem whatsoever for the recipe… feel free to drop a note of something you would like me to conjure up in the near future! BBQ season hasn’t hit Scotland yet, lucky you though!
